1969 MGB Roadster
RHD, 59K Miles, Last owner 40 years, Black with Black Leather
Introduced in 1962, the MGB would has proved to be one of the most successful sports cars of all time. Attractively styled, cheap to run and easily maintained. This RHD, home market example, supplied by University Motors in August 1969 is finished in black paintwork with black leather interior and black hood. Just out of long term ownership, this car was owned by a Lord for the past 40 years and has only 4 past keepers in total. The car is presented in generally very good usable condition but is not concours, with some paint imperfections and scratches which could benefit from improvement. Structurally the car is sound and the underside has recently been protected with Waxoyl. The car has also just had a full service, including oil, filter, plugs, points, condenser, air filters and new rear leaf springs. Sadly there is little to no history present as all service records have been lost, however the mileage is believed to be correct, although not warranted. The car starts on the button, drives well and isn’t smoking or dropping oil. A rare original hard top is also present with the car as well as the original tools, jack, tonneau cover and heritage certificate. The interior is in great condition and has been re-trimmed in black leather and the hood has been replaced recently so is like new. Overall a usable classic Roadster that will offer the new owner lots of enjoyment.
