1963 Morris Mini-Minor 850
Recent restoration, Early ‘Floor start’ car, Running perfectly, Disc brakes, Minilite Wheels
A lovely example of an early 850 Mini, imported to the UK from New Zealand in 2017 where the car had recently received a full & comprehensive restoration. The body has been completely restored before being finished in the eye catching period Cooper colours of Fiesta Yellow with Old English White roof. The car benefits from Cooper style bumpers, Minilite wheels with new Yokohama tyres (including the spare), a flip top fuel filler, FIA style wing mirrors, leather bonnet-straps, and clear indicator lenses. Although not standard, these additions give the car a fantastic unique look. This little Mini starts without hesitation, runs very well & stops brilliantly thanks to the disc brake conversion up front. The interior has been completely re-trimmed at great expense, using only the finest materials. The seats have been totally rebuilt and then covered in a Spinnybeck Cascia Italian leather, as have the rear door cards and front door linings. Spinneybeck is the worlds leading supplier of full grain, Italian leather and is hugely expensive. A suitably plush black carpet set has also been fitted to finish the custom interior.
All in all a really great example of an early Mini which is mechanically sounds, ready to be enjoyed.
