A very clean LHD example of the iconic VW T2 Bay Camper
Manufactured in October 1973 & imported to the UK from Sweden in 2001 this camper is currently registering 51,000 miles and has had 6 owners.
Presented in a classic two tone blue & white colour scheme the paintwork is in very good condition, having been re painted 4 years ago. There are a couple of marks and small stone chips but generally it looks great.
It comes with 10 months MOT, Type 4 1800 engine, brand new Webber carb, upgraded electric distributor, new front brake lines, new heat exchangers.
It’s tastefully lowered and running white Empi alloy wheels with good tyres all round. The interior has recently been replaced with all new units and has been fully re-trimmed to a high standard in matching blue & white.
It benefits from a built in fridge, neatly installed electric hook up with a power management system, independent leisure battery, LED lighting, 240v Sockets, CD Player, mini fridge up front, luxury rose wood steering wheel.
The camper starts first time every time and runs very well. The engine pulls nicely and there are no nasty noises from the engine, gearbox or suspension. It tracks straight and pulls up on the brakes evenly.
