A very well presented, custom Karmann Ghia. Comprehensive bare metal restoration in 2008, completed by Andy Finch, owner of award winning specialist restoration company Spikes Vintage Restoration. Fully documented with over 500 photos of the whole restoration process on file. All bodywork carried out to a high standard then finished in a custom Bronze paint colour. New wiring loom fitted, full custom red leather interior, brand new hood and new carpets, many parts re chromed or restored, narrowed front beam. Rebuilt 1641 Ian Clark engine with new twin Weber carbs, Vintage speed exhaust, Empi rocker covers, Oil cooler, Deep Sump, 123 Distributor, Gene burg shifter, all running beautifully. Colour coded Marathon wheels with good Continental tyres. A large folder of service history and invoices for work carried out is present, along with many photos of the restoration work, original owners books and past MOT certificates. The car starts with ease and drives superbly and is now ready to be enjoyed by a new owner.
