1969 Jaguar E-Type 4.2 Series 2 2+2
LHD, Automatic, Matching numbers, original paint, 62,400 Miles, Rust free
Direct from California we are pleased to offer this superb example of a very straight E-Type for restoration / recommission. This is a completely original, matching numbers car, still in the original paint it left the factory in. The last owner had this car for many years & is believed to be only the second owner. The car was rescued from a barn in California and was last on the road in 1990. As well as being completely original this car has absolutely zero rust anywhere, all the usual problem areas are completely solid & 100% rot free including the boot, floors, & bulkhead. The original body panels & chassis are all also in very good condition other than some minor dents. The matching numbers engine does start & run from a temporary fuel supply, (video available). The chrome trim is all present & very usable as are the original chrome wire wheels. The glass is perfect with no cracks and the dash is all also usable with no splits. I have the heritage certificate for the car confirming the matching numbers & build date of 4th December 1969.
With solid, original cars like this becoming increasingly hard to find this represents a fantastic opportunity to start your restoration from a very solid base, rather than spending months in the body shop or for a small investment get this car on the road and enjoy driving it as it is – a survivor.
The car is here in the UK, available now with all taxes paid & is registered on the NOVA system with US Title present. Delivery available worldwide.
