1.3 V4, Manual, Rally Spec, Superb Condition
This Lancia Fulvia Series II 1.3 S is a superb Italian classic, which has been extensively upgraded with quality components to conform to the Automobile Club D’Italia GT category. It is powered by a 1.3-litre Lancia V4 engine with Weber 42 DCOE 24 carburettors, coupled to a five-speed manual gearbox. The car was competed in three Automobile Club D’Italia rallies, in 2007 and 2008 and was registered with the Historic Club of Italy in 2015. It was imported to the UK and registered with the DVLA as a historic vehicle in 2017. Presented in wonderful condition throughout and finished in Rosso Corsa with black bonnet and rally decals. It rides on a set of gold Cromodora wheels, which are shod with 5 new, period correct Pirelli Cinturato tyres. The car comes equipped with two sets of spot lamps (one being Cibie), a Luisi steering wheel, period style bucket seats with Sabelt harnesses, a Digitech tripmeter and electric radiator fan on/off switch. There are also electric cut-off switches on both the dashboard and front scuttle. The engine now benefits from Weber 42 DCOE 24 carburettors with ITG air filters, 123 ignition system with a Magnicor 8mm plug lead set as well as a high-pressure fuel pump. The original drivers manual is present, along with a trip meter handbook, the Italian Automobile Club D’Italia registration documents and a collection of MOT certificates and maintenance invoices. Some parts previously removed (including the Solex carburettors and ignition etc.) are included with the car. The body and paint are in very good overall condition. Being a competition car the interior is partially stripped out, and the rest of the interior trim also presents well. All of the electrics are in good working order. The car has had significant recent investment, most recently at Performance & Classic Cars who replaced the carburettors, manifold, ignition, coils, plug leads, high pressure fuel pump, clutch cable, pedal spring, clutch lever return spring, master cylinder, brake servo and depression valve, before reconditioning the brake callipers and fitting new tyres. Prior to this, technicians at Omicron Engineering replaced the steering box and adjusted the cam timing. Overall a particularly tidy and solid example of this desirable Italian classic which has been professionally modified to period rally style whist remaining road legal.
