Stunning example!
The Porsche 550 Spyder was built between 1954 and 1956 and just 78 examples were produced for sale, in addition to factory racing cars. There were many variations and the Technic 550 is based on the 1955 model, widely remembered as the car owned by James Dean. 550’s raced successfully all over the world, winning their class and often challenging for outright victory at Le Mans, the Nürburgring and the Mille Miglia against much more powerful opposition. Surviving 550’s are now priceless collectors items but the spirit of these outstanding cars has been recaptured by this Technic 550 Spyder.
