Recent full restoration, 85,000 Miles,
Bure Valley Classics are pleased to offer for sale this stunning 1957 TR3. An export model which was originally delivered to Germany but was soon repatriated in 1960 when it was then converted to right hand drive. The car has recently been subject to a complete ‘nut & bolt’ restoration by the last owner who owned the car since 2012. The comprehensive restoration included a complete strip down of the car, with the body being removed from the chassis. New floors & sills were fitted, the body was then restored and painted in 2 pack old English white, leaving the car looking fantastic. The interior was completely re trimmed in tan leather upholstery including the door cards & dashboard. A new carpet set & mohair hood were also made for the car. The engine was rebuilt including rings, piston liners & new timing chain & the car also has the benefit of a completely new wiring loom with modern fuses, electronic ignition & electric fan. The brake system has been overhauled, new brightwork has been installed, original gauges refitted & a brand new stainless steel exhaust fitted. The car has now covered 2000 miles since the restoration, has never been out in the wet & is now ready for a new owner. This car starts on the button & is running & driving superbly. V5 present along with the original buff log book from 1960 & a number of invoices & photos from the restoration. Overall a very handsome car which needs nothing & is ready to be enjoyed.
