1969 Triumph TR6 PI
RHD, Genuine 61K Miles, 150bhp, Overdrive, Proven reliability
We are pleased to offer this very tidy example of the early, fuel injected, 150bhp TR6. A very solid, original car that has covered a genuine 61,700 miles from new. Obviously very well cared for throughout its life with a huge file of past invoices and documents from its 5 former owners. The last owner has cherished the car for the past 7 years, enjoying several European road trips including the Spa Classic in Belgium and the Le Mans Classic in France and has kept up with regular maintenance and improvements to ensure reliability. Benefitting from the 4 speed manual gearbox with working overdrive in 3rd & 4th, recent uprated springs on Spax shocks, stainless steel exhaust system, matching Avon tyres on recently refurbished original wheels, interior refresh in 2015 with new carpets, premium leather seats, all new dash and period Moto-lita steering wheel. The engine has been rebuilt and the head converted to unleaded, oil pressure is good and there is no smoke or unwanted noises. The gearbox has also been rebuilt in the past and is performing superbly. The clutch feels fine and was last replaced at 52K miles, the brakes are great and pull the car up nice and straight. The engine bay is particularly clean and tidy while the underside of the car is completely solid, showing no signs of corrosion or past accident damage. Overall the car presents very well, with just some small stone chips and marks to the paint conducive with the age of the car. Certainly an appreciating British classic which is ready to be enjoyed now.
